David C. Hoskins, Attorney at Law

David C. Hoskins' legal career and information about his current bankruptcy practice.

David C. Hoskins has been a licensed Colorado attorney for 36 years. From 1982 until 2003, he was the owner of David C. Hoskins, P.C., a law firm providing legal services in many areas, including real estate, business formation, family law, juvenile law, and criminal defense.  From 1989 to 1999, he was general counsel to Parker Fire Protection District, a semi-rural fire protection district, in Colorado. For the last 14 years he has been exclusively representing clients in chapter 7 and chapter 13 bankruptcy in all areas of Colorado.

In 2003, Dave joined George T. Carlson & Associates, a prominent law firm representing clients in bankruptcy. During his nine years with that law firm, in addition to representing clients filing chapter 7 and chapter 13 bankruptcy, Dave supervised the hiring, training and management of the paralegal staff, developed case management systems, and wrote various articles about bankruptcy for the Colorado Lawyer.

In November 2012, the law firm of David C. Hoskins, Attorney at Law. was re-established, with offices in Denver and Pueblo.  October 1, 2013, Dave moved his Denver office into the offices of Peter Milwid's Mile High Bankruptcy, at 1888 Sherman Street, Suite 650, Denver, CO 80203.

Dave's Policy is to Work Directly with You

Dave enjoys helping people through one of the most stressful situations in life, out-of-control debt.  It is Dave's policy to be involved directly with his clients and their cases.  You will meet with Dave, at the initial consultation.  You will communicate with Dave for the purpose of engaging his services, signing a fee agreement, and getting the process started.  When your draft documents are ready, Dave will write to you and advise you of the next step.  When you come into our office to review, revise, and sign your paperwork, you will be meeting with Dave only.  Dave will personally get you ready for the creditors' meeting and represent you at that meeting.  Throughout this stressful process, you will have direct access to Dave, by phone or email; it is his policy to respond to your voice message and emails within 24 hours.

At his Denver office, Dave will be open for clients early Thursday evenings, in addition to the usual Tuesday through Friday business hours (See Office hours).  At his Pueblo office, Dave is available at least one day a week, by appointment (See Office hours).
